The municipality of Rēzekne states that a letter from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development was received on 15 October 2013, which states that, with the receipt of the letter, the municipality of Rezekne is entitled to commence the implementation of the binding Regulation No. 3 “Terms of Use and Construction of the Rēzekne District Planning 2013-2024 and the graphic part”. This means that all decisions of the local government on matters received and registered in the municipality as from 15 October 2013 are adopted on the basis of the new spatial plan. With the approved Rēzekne District Planning for 2013-2024, can be found in the municipality of Rezekne (Liberation algae iela 95A, Rezekne) and on the municipal website www.reseknesse.lv.
