The General Registry Office of Rezekne is established

At the meeting of the Rēzekne District Council on 2 December 2021, a decision was taken in the territory of Rezekne District to reorganise the Rēzekne District and Vilnius District Registry Division, establishing a single division of the General Registry of Rezekne with two places of acceptance:
- Release alley 95A, Rezekne, LV-5701;
- Cultural area 1A, Vilnius, Rezekne municipality, LV-4650;
The decision was taken in the implementation of administrative territorial reform in order to implement the functions, tasks and duties entrusted to the local government in the Law on the Registration of Civil Status of the Republic of Latvia, on the basis of Section 15, Paragraph one, Clause 15 and Section 21, Paragraph one, Clause 27 of the Law on Local Governments, Section 10, Paragraph one, three and six of the Law on Civil Status Registration, Section 12, Paragraphs one, two and three of the Law on Civil Status, and taking into account the proposal of the territorial standing committee of 25 November 2021.
The Registrar of the Registrar of Rezekne shall be composed of the head of the department, the head of the department.
It is decided to approve the form of the General Registry Office of Rezekne in accordance with Annex 1.
The Registrar of Rezekne shall commence operations with effect from 1 January 2022.
