New view towers and platforms in Latvia

With the support of the European Union Cohesion Fund in Latvia, the Nature Protection Board will continue the development of natural infrastructure in Latvia this year. There will be new towers and platforms in many places this year.
Vidzeme
In Vidzeme, two new towers will be built this year. In the near future, one of them will be finalised in the nature reserve “Corneti – Pelli”, while the other will soon be in the landscape area “North gauja”.
The view tower in the nature reserve “corneti – Pelli” will be 27 metres high, and the visitors of a small castle-scale nature trail will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of both Alūksne and Hanja Highlands in Estonia and even see Munamseli. It should be noted that there are four natural trails in the picturesque surroundings that allow viewing of the impressive “Corneta – Pellu” grave, valleys, lakes and hills. The second tower in the area of protected landscapes “North Kurja”, Valka municipality of Valka, will be acquired by the parish counselors in the coming months. Its construction has already been launched. From its 27 metres height, it will be possible to see the Gauja, its curves and its surroundings – meadows and forests. A parking lot will also be built next to this tower.
Latgale
In the Naujenes parish, Daugavpils municipality, Daugavpils municipality, Daugavpils municipality, Vasargelipies will have a new 20 metres high view tower. Visitors from it will be able to see two circles of the Daugava River - Rozaliazu and Sandariazu. Once again, one of the most beautiful views of Latvia will be seen from the tower, which once rooted Latvian banknotes – 10 lats banknotes.
Another tree view tower at a height of 20 metres in Lazdukalns, Daugavpils municipality is located in Vecsalienas parish. The River Daugava and Daugava Valley landscape will also be considered from this tower.
A 3 m high view platform will be installed in the territory of the Nature Park “Daugava Rocks”. On the other hand, a 20 m high view tower will be built in the “Sauka” area of the Nature Park “Sauka”. Ormaņkalns is the highest place in Celia's hills. From the new viewport, he could look at Sauka Lake and the painted surroundings.
In the territory of the Razna National Park, a wooden platform (at ground level) will be established in Makoņkalns. It is installed in a place that visitors are very popular and used to look at Razna's estimates and photographed in the background of Lake Razna and the surrounding landscape.
Kurzeme
In South_Kurzeme, the Nature Park “Pape” will build a bird-watching hiding place in the Kalinos. It is intended to be a free-standing building from which the lake shore wetch is observed and a wide range of views across the lake lake. The surroundings of the lake lake are one of the best bird-watching sites in Latvia, which is used as a migration route by thousands of pedestrians and bats in spring and spring. A 120 m long kindness will be built for convenient and secure access. In the Nature Park, “Embite” will be a new view platform.
The construction of towers and platforms is subject to financial support from the European Union Cohesion Fund for the development of “anthropogenic load-reducing and information infrastructure” in Natura 2000 areas. II. card 'No 3DP/3 .5 .1 .3 .0/12/IPIA/VARAM/001.
It should be added that in 2015, the construction and restoration of natural tourism infrastructure in Southern Kurzeme, North Latgale and South Latgale, South Africa and North America as well as the Pierre Region will continue with the support of the European Union Cohesion Fund. In nature tourism facilities, trails, built-in parking areas and roads, kindles, stairways, places of activity, toilets, set-up garbage urns and other works of the improvement of the infrastructure of Natura 2000 sites will be utilised.
