Project “career support in general and vocational education institutions” in Rezekne municipality continues!

Since 2017, the European Social Fund project No. 8.3.5.0/16/I/001 “career support in general and vocational izglītības institutions” has been involved in most of the Rēzekne municipality, in which students are given targeted career support.  Career Development Support – a set of measures that include access to information, career education and individual advice for the identification and planning of learners' careers, making choices in relation to education and work (Education Law, 2013 amendments).

The implementation of the specific support objective of the European Union Funds Operational Programme “Growth and Employment” 8.3.5. “improve access to careers in general and vocational education institutions” project “career support in general and vocational education institutions” has been extended until 31 December 2022.

Career Development Support Priority Directions 2021./2022.m:

• integration of career education in the implementation of improved learning content and approach;
• promoting attractiveness of vocational training and familiarisation of skills;
• work with educated parents in support of children's career and the promotion of lifelong learning ideas.

In this school year, the school's career support will be provided by 3 pedagogical careers (see table)
