Rēzekne county artists will be guided by creative workshops
From 18 to 25 October, five representatives of the Rēzekne municipality in the Greek city of Elason will discuss their artistic activities by organising creative workshops, seminars and activities for local residents. These activities will be carried out within the framework of the international project “art farers”, headed by THE European Economic and Social Education Organisation ECOSE (Greece).
The municipality of Rezekne has developed a long-term collaboration with the local government in the implementation of joint projects. This time, the project aims to develop cooperation in Europe in the field of culture between representatives of various arts.

In addition to Latvia, Slovenia, Spain and Greece are also participating in this project. The Rēzekne District is represented by floriste, lietišķās and visual art teacher May Gailums, painter, visual arts and foreign language teacher Ilze Ontugāne, Cordirigente and music teacher Solvita Pavlovska, horeograph, long-time manager of the dance group “Dziga” Ilmārs Dreļs, a familiar photographer, a member of various photo exhibitions, a book and brochure designer Alexander Lenbeds.
