Sherjan village formed in the late fifties of the 20 th century as the centre of the Sherjan peat factory. At the time of the factory's existence, from a small populated point with two dozens of Baraku, it grew into a large village with public and residential buildings. The village dominates two to four-storey residential houses, as well as one-storey private home. Residential houses are equipped with centralised water supply, sewerage and heat supply. The village area is green and clean. Historically, a multinational population is formed.
