By 12 May at all NVA branches, contacts with customers and collaborators are carried out remotely

Given that the emergency situation for restricting the spread of Covid-19 virus was prolonged in the country by 12 May of that year, the State Agency for Employment (SEA) informs that in all BRANCHES of THE SEA, contacts with customers and cooperation partners will take place remotely by 12 May.
The timetable for postponing the date of visits of the unemployed PERSONS IN THE NVA has also been updated: the unemployed persons who have been scheduled to visit THE NVA during the period from 16 March to 12 May will have to arrive at their NVA branch in accordance with a new schedule available on THE NVA website. Only the date of the visit changes, but the time is predetermined. Customers will also be able to see the scheduled visit date IN their profile CV and vacancy portal (https://cvvp.nva.gov.lv/#/pub/). Authenticate IN THE NVA CV and the vacancy portal can be both via the Internet Banking Authentication Feature by clicking on the relevant bank icon, both electronic signature and eSignature Mobile.
It is recalled that by 12 May, applications for the granting of unemployment status are also accepted on a non-spot basis.
In order to apply for unemployment status in THE NVA CV and vacancy portal no earlier than the day following termination of employment legal relationship, the following steps shall be performed:
Step 1.
Open NVA RESUME and vacancy portal (https://cvvp.nva.gov.lv);
Step 2
Authorize using one of the portal latvija.lv authentication types.
Step 3
Select the option “for the status of the unemployed person or the jobseeker”;
Step 4
Select the option to “apply for unemployment status” and specify THE NVA branch you want to cooperate with.
Step 5
Download and fill in the application for the status of unemployed person (signature not required); APPLICATION for granting of unemployment status
Step 6
Save a completed application IN WORD format as an attachment and send THE NVA.
It is recalled that a remote application for granting the status of unemployed person may also be submitted in the www.latvija.lv administration service portal in accordance with the e-service submission to the institution (e-signature is not necessary). Don't forget to upload a filled latvija.lv and add it as an attachment when you log in to the status of the unemployed person.
If the customer does not have the opportunity to login electronically to the status of the unemployed person, this may be done by printing the submission, filling in and placing the branch in the mailbox.
