Communication of VAS “Latvian State Roads” on additions to environmental impact assessment on road A12

On 22 December 2014, A12 (E22) “Jçkabpils – Rezekne – Ludza – Russian border (Terehova)” section of the Russian border (Terehova) was submitted to the National Bureau of Environmental Monitoring.

The initiator of the intended activity is VAS “Latvian State Roads” (Gogol street 3, Riga, LV-1050, tel.: 67028169, tail. No 40003344207).
The length of the motorway to be built is 29 km. It passes the parish of Rezekne and the parish of Griškans and Ludza District of Cirma and Isnaudas parish. Two route alternatives to the south of the existing road are considered.
