Guest house “Balda watermills”

The guest house “Balda Watermill” is designed for peaceful family recreation, rural tourism fans, mixed and active holidays in a circle of friends, for romantic holidays, for organising solemn and corporate events, as well as for organising sports and children events. “Balda Watermill” is a great place for your rest in the countryside on the banks of the painted river. A recreational complex offers accommodation for up to 35 persons and organising events up to 65 persons (organising of banquets, tabling), as well as fireplace and summer terrace, picnic and tent places, bathing sites and fishing, walking and bicycle trails, opportunity to see water mills.

The guest house “Balda Watermill” is located in an 18th century built-up mill building in a very beautiful painting site on the banks of the Balda River, at Malta-Dagda Road (P57), 30 kilometres from Rēzekne and 239 kilometres from Rīga. These are the only water mills in the Rēzekne municipality, which are completely preserved.
