Calls on Rogovka's rock festival “DinosaurFest”

On Saturday, the evening of 24 October, THE third rock festival “DinosaurFest” will be held AT Nautrēnu sports hall – the cultural house and its territory. The event is organised by the association “young people Rogovka” in collaboration with Rogovka Multifunctional Youth Initiative Centre and Nautrēnu parish administration. Part of the festival budget is covered by the funds derived from the youth initiative project “DinosaurFest 2015”, which is one of the projects approved by the association and the Rēzekne municipality council in the competition for youth initiatives in Rezekne municipality in 2015.
The beginning of “dinosaurfest” was found in 2012 when “young people Rogovka” activists – Marta Zvejsalniece, Elgar Ludboržs and Cynthia Ludborgai – had the idea that they needed their own rock festival. On September 8, the same year, DinosaurFest 2012 was successful in the DinosaurFest 2012.
This year the festival takes place in Rogovka, including both the interior of the cultural house and the outdoor area. The event will be opened by the youth rock group of Rogovka multifortional youth initiatives. This will be the first time the new group will go on stage. The festival will also feature the group “peppermint” from Ilūkstes, “Wierd Wednesdays” from Rezekne, the group “No VAT” project “Jezups i muosys”, the group “lemon ice cream”, the alternative music project “tombs” and the group “Unknown Artist” from Baltinava. The special guest of the event will be “PYRO TREES” from Riga. In the meantime and night after the group's concert, they entertained DJ Valns from Rezekne.
