Invited to participate in training “new natural friends” “beacon”

From 15 to 18 July, the “Lubana Vilnis” association “lighthouse” at THE “beacon” Gaigalavas parish, Luban Lake is organized by informal training “new natural friends” designed for children of 10 to 15 years of age and young people from Rezekne municipality and Viļānu. The aim of the training is to encourage young people to pull away from modern technologies and the pace of life by presenting nature in an exciting and joyful way: living in fresh air, sporting, actively resting, learning new places and people, learning autonomy and making good use of their free time.

During training, children will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the museum of the Gunar Estonian museum, the Teirumnik swamp trail, the largest lake of Latvia – Luban – flora and fauna, as well as other interesting local recreational places. It is important to note that children who attend training should be vaccinated against tick encephalitis as well as a medical certificate of health.
Thanks to the financial support of the municipality of Rezekne, participation in training is free of charge.
