Approved New Rēzekne District Planning 2013-2024
The municipality of Rēzekne states that, at the meeting of 21 February 2013 (Protocol No 5, § 95), the Sustainable Development Strategy of Rezekne has been approved by 2033, but at the meeting of the Council of 1 August 2013 (Protocol No 19, § 1), the Rēzekne District Planning for 2013-2024 has been approved and binding regulations No. 3 “Regulations and graphical part of the use and building of the Rēzekne District Planning 2013-2024” have been issued (see Publication of the publication of 8 August 2013 in the Official Gazette Latvijas Vēstnesis - www.vestnesis.lv, “Miscellaneous advertisements”.

With the approved sustainable development strategy until 2033, the spatial plan for 2013-2024 and environmental review documents, the information report, the opinion of the Environmental Monitoring Bureau on the environmental report and information regarding the time limits for submission of the monitoring report can be found in the municipality of Rezekne (free alley street 95, Rezekne) and on the Internet on the website of the local government.
Although the new Rēzekne District Planning for 2013-2024 has entered into force on 9 August 2013, the municipality will be eligible only after the notification of the Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development (in November of that year).
The development planning documents of Rezekne municipality have been developed within the framework of project No. 1DP/1 .5 .3 .2 .0/10/APIA/VRAA/057 of the European Social Fund.
