Celebrated award for “time donation” laureates, among nominations – also teacher from Nautrēnu secondary school!

On May 3, on the birthday of Imanta's donation, a third awarding ceremony was held at Jurmala concert hall Jurmala. The award laureates are the director of the Rūjienas art school, Janis Galon, Professor OF LLU and THE leading researcher of LU Egils Stalidzans, the inspiration of Sigulda municipality's novelist, Andris Jenerts, THE owner of ZS Kelmenni, Juris Paulovics, and the Riga State 1 st Gymnasium Latvian language and literature teacher Daiga Sirnīte.
Each laureate received a statuette of Imanta's donation and a cash prize of EUR 3000, provided by the Jews Boris and Inara Teterevi. “I feel particularly touched because the laureates are the people of our People - their work has been noticed and evaluated. This prize and the support of our foundation are a tribute to the ability of the laureates and the tendency to multiply our homeland,” says Mecenate Inara Tetereva.
This year, in the category for life in literature “bize”, seven Latvian language and literature teachers from various Latvian provinces were invited to the title of the laureate: Mars drank, Dina Štokmane and Daiga Spike from Riga, vija Cerusa from Bauska, Dace Kronite from Nereta, Zinta sunite from Madliens and Veronika Dundure from Nautrēniem.
More than 170 applications were received for the award for “time for donation” this year, and 40 teachers (some even several times) have been nominated in the literature. The visionaries carefully assessed the applications of the teachers and former students, and met with finalists in the face of their work.
The nomination “bize” Vizionaire Inese Zander: “We have had the opportunity to meet great teachers. Each has a sense of consciousness in its particular aspect. One eagerly collects the commemoration of Latvian cultural employees, among others, the methods of teaching Latvian literature and cultural history. One knows how to link the work and life of Blauman to today, the other inspires his story and cultural enthusiastic lifestyle, the third in school teaches research work at university level, the fourth poetry is given so emotionally and personally that young people are prepared to read it in the dark forest edge or light on the main street of the city. We also met a teacher who is able to reveal literature as a complex system in a wide-ranging cultural context, nurturing debate skills and creative courage."
Veronica Dundure – Nautrēnu secondary school literature teacher who also manages the association of Latgalian and literary teachers and brings together the enthusiasts of this work in summer camps. V.dundure is the introduction of a trainer training in all Latvian schools. The teacher Veronica, her former students, is characterised by the words of the Latgalian great Andriva Jūrdža: “ants, koč Moza, and colours.” The vysu gryutuocais dorb stays for the wineglass because of the cockpit and the pleasant darey.
