The young people of Chornai - honour for Latvia!

The Cornajas parish youth centre “HORIZONTAL” implemented the infrastructure arrangement project “for Latvia”. The aim of the project is to promote the patriotic and belonging of citizens to their country, parish. On 18 November of the next year, the national flags of Latvia in the central street of the Chornajas and the trolley villages. This project complements the project “Knowledge of the history of Chornajas parish” by young people, which strengthens the participation of young people in the place where they live. In the framework of the project, 18 Latvian national flags and 18-bar anchorage sets were purchased.

The project is supported by the project competition announced by the association “Razna National Park Society”. 

Latvian national flags will promote a sense of unity, as in a small village, Latvia as a whole. It will be beautifully designed in the festival mood of 18 November, as well as every citizen will have to think about the possibility of living in a free country.
