Active and talented Onujan family in the village of Zīmevka
When driving to THE village of THE Suzmevka parish OF Kantinieku, there are flowering fields and green forest stands until the road indication informs that the farm “Earth” is nearby. When you turn into the family estate of Onuijan, you seem to be in the oasis where the landscape is particularly attractive, cleaned and buried with natural charm. The owners Anita and Valdis are exciting the story of their families over a number of generations, showing a park where each tree has been planted by a family representative.
The onujan family, with daughters Christine, Cynthia and Tatjana, operate in their farm “Earth”. The farm is not large, but the family works with full return and love for the native land. On this active and confronted family in 2011, when the natural disasters were pressed for three weeks without electricity, the film “life without electricity” was taken.
Valdis Onuijan acquired the speciality of the artist at the College of Art in Rēzekne. The property name of the owner of the house was created at the house. Kaida primary school, Rikavas primary school, family of friends and relatives. Children like rural freedom, because there is an opportunity to swing into the trees of the park tree, to run through the ball and to bake the sausages in the fire, to burn the field delicacy, as well as to admire the magic of the master of the master. Daughter Tatjana Jçkabpils, in “Accounting and Finance College”, acquires the profession of accountant as necessary for the economy. The younger daughters Cynthia and Christine learn Sakstagala J. KCo at the elementary school and attend a Viļānu art and music school where the acordeone and the violinist are learning. Momma Anita and her daughters are singing and playing theatre, so they participate IN THE Sakstagala parish theatre, and all four are singing in Etnographic ensemble “Rikava”, often participating in Latgale ethnographic open-air museum in Latgale Festival, are participants of the song festival and international folklore festival “BALTICA”, as well as participate in local views and events.
With his wife, Anita and daughters, Valdis Onuijan is not only devoted to rural works and art, but the family, the People's and Christian traditions. All actively participate IN THE lives OF Rikavas Roman Catholic congregations, are participants in festive processors. God bless this family in all the work and the realization of the ideas.
