Feimaņu parish community dance collective “Vimyns” danced a 5-year-anniversary concert “to stop a moment of beauty”
On December 14, there were dancers from Daugavpils, Rushon, Valka, Riebins, Riga, Luban and Varakleans to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of the “Vimyns” collective bargaining house of THE parish cultural house OF Feimaņu. The concert was opened with a video in which JDK “Vimyns” photograph mosaic could be watched, while the lobby contained a diploma and a photo collage created in the form of a photograph. During the concert, it was said about the dance and achievements of the dance collective. Each event in collective life was compared to one of the coloured bricks carried on the stage by the “Vimyna” dancer pair. As a result, dancers built their collective creative wall, which will certainly be complemented by new developments.
The collective manager, at the end of the anniversary, said the following words: “today we have great festivals, but i want this festival to be at every meeting.” “Honey dancers, that is the moment of festival, from which we have to go.” According to what is said to be a conscientious work for the permanent dancers of “Vimyns”: Olitai Kuksai, Daigai Otikov, Arnitai Tjarvei, vija Strukai, Erva Vilcan, Sandim Stusar, Ella Livone, Vitai Aminko, Kārlim Tarand, Andris Rogovsky, Yuri Sobinov, Oscar Otikov was awarded the Latvian National Cultural Centre's recognition articles, which have been signed by the Director of the Latvian National Centre for Culture, Māris Grebzde. For the rest of the dancers: Evitai Laban, Laura Livone, Andrai Strukai, Evalda Persam, Sergei Gorinam Rēzekne District, Vice-President of the Council, Elhusband Pizāne, gave a solemn presentation of the thanks of the municipality of Rezekne for the achievements in the development of the People's dance traditions. The recognition articles were also presented to the collective manager, Guntim Tjarvy.
