Gravel road conversion in Rezekne municipality

With the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) since 3 April 2018, the implementation of project No 18-01-a00702-000013 of the municipality of Rezekne has been launched “Improving the municipal road infrastructure in Rezekne District, 4 th round”. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the gravel roads of the municipality of Rezekne for the promotion of rural business and ensuring the reach of the local population. Within the framework of the project, by 1 August 2020, a reconstruction of the gravel motorways of the five municipalities of Rezekne will be performed. Three of the five works of the municipal gravel roads have been completed today. IN Audriņu parish, a reconstruction of motorway No. 4209 “small Puderovo – Audriņi” and No. 4210 “Creevy bread – Mežars” was performed, where the performer of works was the local construction company SIA “Vaivars”. The construction firm SIA “Vaivars”, as WELL AS the “Kauno Bridge” subcontractor, was successfully carried out by the CONSTRUCTION firm Sia “Vaivars” as a “Kauno bridge”. On the other hand, Lendžu parish road No 6612 “Ciskov – Cirma station” was successfully implemented by another local construction company - SIA “paths and bridges”.
Construction work for the remaining two project roads IN Nagļu and Vērēmu parish was also launched this summer. IN THE month of July Nagļu in the month of July, the construction work of motorway No 7405 “Lodden – Aizpiekre” was started BY SIA “Vaivars”, who was selected in a re-purchase contract because of the fact that the original construction contract with the construction company SIA “E Boovskis” was broken for objective reasons. Nagļu parish construction works are planned to be completed this autumn. On the other hand, Vērēmu parish road No. 9602 "Sondori – Loborji '1.5 km conversion TO the“ Kauno Bridge ”subcontractor SIA“ Vaivars ”could only be started after the construction of THE SIA“ TET ”electronic communications cable line, which was performed by SIA“ ELRun ”. Consequently, THE conversion of THE Vērēmu parish path started this summer and the completion of the works is planned until 1 July 2020.
In accordance with Decision No 01.3-11/19/400-e of the Rural Support Service, the eligible costs of the specified project are EUR 1 188 314,92, of which the public EAFRD funding allocated is 90% or 1 069 483.42 EURO.
