“Experiment” in semi-final won Nautrēnu secondary school

In the Latvenergo group physics erudition competition “experiment” on the final game on the television channel LNT won Nautrēnu secondary school team “Omini” with teacher-consultant Inguna Pašani. The semi-final took five best of 33 Latgale teams, one of Nautrēnu High Schools, Maltas High Schools, Aglona High School, and two teams from Livani High School.
In the semi-final phase, young people met in the face of a number of practical and real-life tasks requiring strong knowledge in physics about the closure of electric circuits, the equation of heat balance, the lens formula and other physics themes. The performance of the participants was assessed by experienced physicians – the docent of Riga Technical University, Peter Peteris apse-Apsytis, who wished to always satisfy the team members about what they heard or seen, and continue to try to learn more. Similarly, the jury in the Commission took part IN THE “distribution network” head of the Eastern relay division Juris Veinstein, Virginia Liepiņa, head of the Latvian university's new physician school, as well as physics teacher and “experiment” expert Aivars Eriņš.
In the semi-final round, the team “Omini” from Nautrēnu high school earned 20 points, the “Arhimeda force” team from Maltas secondary school 14 points, “photon” from the Livani 2 nd Secondary School 13 points, “Keplers” from Aglona High School and the second Livāns 2 nd High School “photocells” 12 points. The “experiment” in the final game for the main prize, a trip to Rimini in Italy, will be divided into one strongest team from each region of Latvia – Kurzeme, Zemgale, Riga, Latgale, Vidzeme and Riga City. “Boys” means the fourth team qualified for the final, the remaining teams will be found in the remaining semi-final.
In the 2015/2016 school year, the “experiment” was registered with 211 teams, representing 165 schools or every fifth Latvian school in which students of classes 8 and 9 are trained. The “experiment” competition for the Latvenergo group is already in the 21 st season – previously known as “Vatins”, “Waltins”, “lighter head?” and “lighter head”.
