Invitation to tender for THE “NGO Foundation” launched by 6 February

The Society for Integration of the Society shall be proclaimed “NGO Foundation” programmes financed by the State budget of Latvia for projects to be implemented in the field of open project applications in 2020 within the framework.
The objective of the programme is to strengthen the sustainable development and democracy of civil society in Latvia by raising civil participation, mutual trust and cooperation between different groups of society, confidence in the state and confidence in the ability to influence decisions by promoting and raising the sense of belonging of the population to Latvia.
Within the framework of the programme, projects involving the following lines of action are planned to be supported in 2020: (in accordance with the Conceptual Report on the establishment OF THE NGO Fund):
1. “Strengthening THE activities OF NGOs”;
2. “Strengthening THE protection of THE interests of NGOs”;
3. “Support FOR NGO civil society activities”;
4. “Strengthening cooperation between NGOs”.
The project is expected to cover both one and several directions. At the same time, a separate separate funding for micro-level projects with a simpler administration mechanism is envisaged to strengthen small, local NGOs.
The programme will support projects aimed at increasing participation in the decision-making process.
A macro project may be submitted by organisations which have been active in the field of civil society development for at least the last 3 years during a continuous period of 3 years and its activities are linked to civil society activities.
The funding available for projects within the framework of the programme from the State budget grant funds allocated to the Ministry of Culture for 2020 shall be EUR 1 097 000.
The tender regulations of the “NGO Foundation” and the project submission forms (submission of micro and macro projects) shall be available on the website of the society integration fund on the Internet at www.f.gov.lv.
Deadline for submission of project applications is 6 February 2020 (date of receipt in the society integration fund). Project applications may be submitted:
• in electronic formsigned with secure electronic signature and certified by time stamp when sending to e-mail address: nvof@sif.gov.lv
• personally (up to 17.00) or by post Company Integration Fund, address Aspasion Boulevard 24 (3 rd floor), Riga, LV-1050 (in one original with an electronic version of the data in the media);
