A career support event “kineologist masterclass” was held in five schools in schools.
As of March 2017, THE ACTIVITIES of ESF project No 8.3.5.0/16/I/001 “career support in general and vocational education institutions” take place. At the end of April and early May, five schools in schools: Maltese, Nautre and Lucia Ranāne McKashan in secondary school, the Gigalawa and Feimau primary school took place in a career support event “kineologa masterclass” led by the kineologist Valdis Bikovskis.
At the beginning of the event, the cinologist Valdis Bikovskis, who had obtained his education in Germany, at the police school, told pupils about the specificities and specificities of the profession - work in the preparation of service dogs. Students were particularly interested in the practical side of the work of the cinemas: demonstration of the skills of the post as many people had never seen the work of the dog trainer. Later students were involved in a discussion on the knowledge, skills and personalities needed.
The Director of the Prime_Primary School, the picture of the “kindergarten masterclass”, says “the pupils learned that the training is best suited to hunting and shepherd dogs, but the most easily - Belgian ovine species, the breeds of the German sheep species, and the Labradors. Each dog needs an individual approach, as well as a very much dependent on the man and dog. The health of the dog, the suitability of the dog's natural instincts, is important, so that they are active, cheerful to have motivation and patience and knowledge. The dog must be respected!
The kineologist also demonstrated the auxiliary instruments of his work - the killers (clicks), the balls (with the smell of the substances in question), the box, the special training sleeves, etc. The children saw the day-to-day training of the service dogs - the work of the kineologist and the service dog team, as the kineologists, with their trusted four-legged assistants, work every day to prevent the introduction of such very harmful and dangerous drugs and cigarettes into our country. The dog Kim knew exactly and followed all his master's commands in English: “to me!”, “sit!”, “sleep!”, “no!”, “Fu!”, “peace!” We noticed that it was easier for the dog to keep his attention if he was rewarded by a knife for his well-done task...
The pupils showed an animated interest in everything they had seen and heard, so the kineologist also involved our pupils, Sergei Dobrava, Elvi tear and Christine Fiodorov, during the demonstration. ”
Class 9 of the Maltese Secondary School acknowledges: “I was very interested in the profession of a cinema, because these demonstrations, which were for us it was quite impressive. The dog really listened to his master and was impressed by the fact that the dog was trained. “I could see that the dog was working every day.”
Another schoolgirl thanked her for the opportunity to get to know the profession: “thank you very much for giving you the opportunity to meet a representative of this profession, because i have the desire to become a policeman, but i couldn't choose a particular direction.” As I watched the work of the Cinologist, i decided that i would go to work in this direction, that is, i would learn about the kineologist. He answered all the questions i wanted to know. '
Overall, pupils' feedback on the event is very positive: someone gained additional information and knowledge, another started to think about their future profession.
