Available for business start-up and development in Rezekne municipality

The foundation “Rural Economic Development in Rēzekne District” (hereinafter “LEARN”) announces an open project application for the start and development of business.
Objectives:
• support the implementation of projects of public-interest rural business development in the municipality of Rezekne;
• to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and to ensure that unemployment is reduced in the territory of Rezekne District;
. Promote the activity and participation of citizens in addressing topical challenges, contributing to improving their quality of life.
Total available financing: EUR 30 000.00
Time of submission of project applications: 15.01.2015 – 16.2.2015
The aid may be eligible:
• natural persons who intend to commence economic activity and whose declared and actual residence is in the territory of Rezekne District;
• natural persons who carry out economic activities in the territory of Rezekne and whose net turnover from economic activity in the previous year is not more than EUR 7000,00,
• legal persons whose economic activity is carried out in the territory of Rezekne District and whose net turnover from economic activity in the previous year is not more than EUR 15 000,00.
Eligible costs:
• Inventory, purchase of equipment by which the product will be produced, processed, sorted, built, moved (excluding road), prepared for storage, packaged, stored or a service will be provided,
• Inventory, equipment delivery and installation costs
purchase of livestock,
• Purchase of specific computer software
purchase of office machinery where the costs do not exceed 10% of the total eligible amount of the project
• development of marketing materials,
• purchase of building materials for repair works of manufacturing or service facilities,
VAT if the aid applicant is not registered in the register of TAXABLE persons.
Maximum amount of the LEARNING LEARN co-financing:
• not more than EUR 3 000,00 and not exceeding 90% of the total eligible costs of the project,
• Agricultural service cooperative societies (excluding cereals and dairy cooperatives) shall not be more than EUR 10 000,00 and shall not exceed 90% of the total eligible costs of the project.
Co-financing of the project applicant: not less than 10% of the total eligible amount of the project.

On January 12, 2015, a seminar will be held in the municipality of Rezekne (in the alley OF release 95A, the big hall) pl .10: 00, which will provide more information and explanations on the preparation of the project application.
