The students of the Rezekne municipality use the opportunities offered by the project “hub for the future”
Educational seminars in the schools of Rezekne are actively organised under the ERASMUS + K1 project “hub for the future” of the municipality of Rezekne. Anatolijs Kozlovskis, Director of the Central School of Rezne, says: “We have repeatedly offered to participate in the activities of the ERASMUS + K1“ hub ”in the Rēzekne municipality this spring.
The first part of the seminar was dedicated to the diagnosis of children's behaviours and the diagnosis of self-equity and to address children's behavioural problems. Lessons for parents, nicky and sticky? With love and respect! “”, headed by a local government specialists of Rezekne, member of the project group Aija Dundure, helped parents in theoretically and practically see the daily children's behavioural problems, which pass through the boundaries of the permit, as well as providing advice in practical terms in resolving them. The lecturer actively involved parents in practical action to familiarise themselves with substitute words in children's conversations with children, in practice experimentation of new methods of child discipline. The parents were working in groups where, according to their children's age, they met Professor Ervi Bazene's recommendations for children's education and self-discipline and in practice met the method “almost as a luxury”. A suggestion was taken in each family to create a “luxury” of each child with the rules for stimulating daily positive behaviours and discipline.
Parents, grandparents, as well as teachers who took part in a meeting, were active in the direction of Aija Dunga, with an unfake interest, creating a useful complement to the personal experience of the main knowledge of the activities: in the most affordable and existing rules of children, it is possible to find a compromise by defining the boundaries of the parents themselves and respecting the choice of children and the desire for personal freedom. The second part of the seminar was devoted to practical activities. Members of the project team, the Rēznas elementary school teacher Irene Batare and Sylvia Pranch have developed a practice session “to be together, be alongside ''. Her parents and grandparents were encouraged to spend more time in shared and useful activities with their children. During the course of the lesson, the process of creating a variety of things that could be made with minimal resources was demonstrated. The creative work used home-made glass containers, household articles, natural materials, glass painting or other kinds of colours. The parents tried to create an unreproducible decorator, a gift, or a space interior object with their hands. '
On the other hand, Sakstagala Jānis Kco's primary school visited the project “hug for the future” Lectores Lily Schodnak, Ilona Jabo, Irene Batare and Sylvia Pranch. The President of the Council of the School, Inta Deksne, is excited: “the causes of“ behavioural problems and their possible solutions ”were chosen by the school Council, as it seemed to us that this issue was topical and binding, affecting all the ages of the pupils.
The parents often do not pay due attention to many things in their daily haste, so they gave a chance to stop, listen and think about our children's feelings and behavior. During the lecture, the role of parents and children and its impact on children's behaviour, as well as the behavioural disorders of children, their causes, possible solutions, was raised. The question of the impact of technology on the psychological and emotional development of children was also addressed. There was also no illustration of theoretical knowledge with examples from real life. The parents, in conclusion, shared their experiences. Together, it came to the knowledge that nothing could be more important than conversations and together with their children.
In the second part of the seminar, parents had the opportunity to work together with children in the creative workshop 'to be together' and to create fantastic works. Everyone had positive emotions.
Thank the lecturers and school leaders for their chance to stop and think about what happens to us and our children. Perhaps we have something to change in our behaviour, in contact so that children grow and develop into the personalities we can be proud of. '
“Two hours of performance went unquestionably because the subject was topical and interesting.” The parents watched the presentation, the video clips about the adult and children's relationship in the family, discussed, learned the theoretical basics of the causes of behavioural disorders and heard examples of practical life on antisocial behaviour, aggression, violence, discipline violations and many other problems. For each problem Lecter Lily Schodnak and Ilona Jabo offered solutions and tips. The parents seen and heard could conclude that it is important for each child in the family to be loved, noticed, heard, safe, but parents must be very careful and careful, always rethinking the impact of their activities on the behaviour of the child. The parents wanted to receive individual advice from specialists after their activities and expressed their willingness to continue the education of parents in the field of child education, ”-- that is the seminar of the project lecturer social pedagogy Lily Schodnaka and psychologist Ilona Jabo, says Tiskada High School Director Olga Missevich.
The parents of a student who actively participate in project activities receive the calendars created within the framework of the project, embracing the future '' with theoretically – practical advice for the raising of children and the awareness of their world awareness for each month. The calendars created by the project team are highly appreciated among older parents and will serve in the long term as support for each family child's education.
