In Rezekne and Viļānu, the highest secondary school team title was won BY Maltas 1 st secondary school this year.
On 29 April, the 17 th season of the knowledge game “eruditis” was concluded in the municipality of Rezekne. In this year of school, ten spēlēs of the Rēzekne Municipality and Viļānu have been tested for sports, including the Olympic Games, Latvian Athletes, sports records and non-traditional sports. Another team won each of the games: in the first game Dricānu secondary school, in the second game – Maltas 1 st secondary school, in the third game – Viļānu secondary school, while in the fourth game – Nautrēnu secondary school I team, so the fight for victory was intense until the last issue. In a total of 80 points, 1 st place was awarded Maltas 1 st High School (Andris Snigris, Edgars Rumiancevs, Vladislavs Kurmevs, Igors Stempkovskis, Vičeslavs Jermolayev, Vladislavs Selaakov), 2 nd place with 77,5 points won THE Nautrēnu secondary school I team, while 3 th with 77 points won Dricānu secondary school.
In order to achieve high results in the erudition game, students had to have not only a broad knowledge of the best Latvian sportsmen and their achievements, but they should also be guided in the world's extraordinary records, such as knowing that Maren Zonkere was still unsuccessful, carrying out a 100 metres barrier-running distance in 22,35 seconds with expanded wafers. Similarly, the pupils had to call a variety of sports, including “Fūtbeg”, a game in which a small bag of beans should be held in the air with the help of the legs (the world record is 8 hours and 50 minutes).
Traditionally, the municipality of Rēzekne, the municipality of Rēzekne, will give an excursion to the Estonian city Tartu at the beginning of summer. In gratitude for the participation, the participants also received the Souvenirs and books of Rezekne. The three best teams, as a prize, also received gift cards from “Auscara kebabs”, while the winners of the main prize – a gift card of 400 euro – will be able to spend their own travel or concert.
