Rezekne will be visited by a delegation of Moldovan entrepreneurs and public institutions

On Monday, May 19, a delegation of representatives of the representatives of the Republic of Moldova, State and local government institutions will attend Rezekne and the municipality. The visit is organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (VARAM) in cooperation with local governments. The Moldovan delegation is scheduled to meet with the management of the municipality of Rezekne and municipality, a presentation of the investment opportunities of the Rezekne Special Economic Zone, the visit of Latgale Embassy GORE. Planned visits to companies in the afternoon. The guests will visit the metalworking company LEAX Rēzekne, the veneer plywood plant “Verems”, as well as the company “Vlakon” - Permanent fish incubator and dolomite and sand, gravel mining. In conclusion, representatives of Moldova will be able to familiarise themselves with Latgale ceramics, visiting Viktor Pankov's workshop.

The Moldovan delegation stays in Latvia from 13 to 20 May. For the purposes of exchange of experience on 14 and 15 May, visitors will visit the Vidzeme region – aloy, Valmiera, Cēsis, Gulbeni, participate IN THE III International Eastern Baltic Business Forum in Daugavpils, a cultural and recreational programme in the Kraslava municipality for 18 May, while on 19 May the delegation visits Rezekne and Rezekne municipality.

The Moldovan delegation consists of 19 representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development, Chisinau, Sohand, Jedineca, etc. local governments, representatives of the regional development agency and entrepreneurs representing timber processing, agriculture, etc.

A visit programme in Rezekne and municipality is provided by the local government institution “RSEZ”, the city council of Rezekne, the Rezekne municipality council.
