“Lubana adventure 2016” became an exciting adventure

On June 11, that year, the association “Aborians” co-operated with THE municipalities of Luban and Rēzekne, a competition “Lubana adventure 2016”. This type of competition was held in 2014 when 11 teams participated, while this year the number of teams had grown almost twice - 21, but 17 teams were started.
The competitions were: 30 km with bicycle, 10 km with boats, 7 km running. In addition, everything had to be set in the area after the map and should be marked at 8 checkpoints. The route was interesting - it included a variety of road coverings and winds through forests, marshes and meadows along the ponds and lakes, as well as across the Full Scale of Iceland. The participants of the competition were from various locations: Luban, Rezekne, Degumnieki, Nagļiem, Madona, Varakalans, Riga, Ilzeskalna, Meirans. The day was created for these competitions, with a small thing and a wind that gave additional tests in the fight with himself. Three types of teams, male and female, took part in the adventure. Thank all the participants who did not come and participate!
