Sakstagala students participate in the opening event of the Latvian national centennial initiative “Latvian School Finish”

On 6 September, an ambitious event took place in Riga, dedicated to the opening of the Latvian national centennial initiative “Latvian School Finish”. This event was also headed BY Sakstagala Jānis Klung, the 7 th grade school pupils of the primary school – Arina Cole, Alice Kitova, Ilze Asače and Ritvars Kubeckis.
At the opening event of the initiative, 6000 pupils from all Latvia, from every Latvian municipality, participated in interactive workshops and were able to observe a multimedial concert “100 Latvian stories in 100 minutes”.
The “Latvian School Finish” initiative is a very important part of the national centenary. It aims to provide each Latvian pupil with an opportunity to learn and experience Latvian natural and cultural values, to explore scientific achievements and business success stories.
