Sun Rēzekne is located in four schools
In the second half of October, the sun filled Rēzekne's Gaigalavas elementary school because of the project “the sun, from Miķeli to the winter sunshine”, was the creative stop for the sun in Martians. Three creative workshops were active in the school – ceramics, musical workshop and painting. Young people from the Rēzekne Arts and Design Secondary School and Jānis Ivanova Rēzekne music secondary school STUDENTS taught students from the clay to create bowls and candles with sunshine. Tiny suns were painted on the canvas in the painting workshop. In contrast, the music workshop taught and repeated songs about the sun: “sun pins crown” “,“ dressed, sun, silver ”“, “silk, silk rye vuorpa” ”. In addition to the dough, the story of the musical instruments was said. 'Today, we had a new instrument with us. We played that sound. We had to guess the instruments. As Gaigalavai has a relationship with musical instruments, as the musical instrument workshop of the Gunar Estonians is active, where the instruments for our music school are also used, the People's traditions are preserved. We were all in the orchestra musical today. The children were given the instruments - the trees, the cobs, and the rattle. All were involved in the musical process', the Director of the School of High School of Ivanon Rēzekne and the director of the creative workshop Sandra Mežore.
The creative workshops welcomed Gaigalavas primary school principal in the field of education Ineta's cross, pointing out that children acquired new skills and knowledge, familiar with the musical instruments that had not been seen so far. “our school is open to innovation. We are working on projects and participate in competitions. We have a broad offer of interest education - after learning hours, students can choose either to sing in the ensemble or folklore together, or to dance the People's dance, to act in the dramatic collective, or to visit other groups' '. The school also has a ceramic group. Victoria told her from the 5 th grade that she had been working with clay so far, but a round-shaped candlestick with ornaments formed the first time. Anita Bernane, head of the ceramic creative workshop from the University of Rēzekne's art and design secondary school, says:“ we formed the suns in different ways. There was a round form, printed in Latvian. Tapa bowls and candles, which are very necessary in the dark during the dark, are also different creative workings. Talent appeared. My sun is life, motion and good mood'. The pupils also agreed that the sun was warm and colourful. It was seen in a painting workshop, headed by Inga Onjev (a teacher of the High School of Art and Design of Rēzekne): “I taught children that everyone has certain abilities and feelings that can be placed on the canvas.” There is no strict rule, every art is sufficiently free and easy to understand. Every work is interesting, reflecting the sun. It will be colourful and rainy in the big picture. What we are, that will be the sun – different '.
Gaigalavas grade 9 school students Sidnia and John's score: “We liked it very much because they could be creative.” In ceramics, how fast the fingers work and how the top-hand work is. The music was the closest subject, that is what we do more often on a day-to-day basis. There is a new song, we repeated the forgotten songs of the sun ''. Sydney first drew on the canvas, something new to her.
It should be noted that the creative workshops have already taken place AT Feimaņu in primary school, where there was a creative stop for the sun in Miķelos. More organized activities of the Rēzekne cultural education school youth will be the Rēzekne municipality IN Sakstagala and the Rēznas elementary school (Stoļerovas parish) for children – joint creative workshops in jewellery, ceramics, textiles and clothing, as well as building of wood cases, co-painted sun drawings and conspicuous sun songs.
The theme of the sun is one of the most deeper in both Latvian traditional music and the symbols and drawings of ethnographic characters. The most popular colour in the sun is red and yellow. The sun also teaches justice and mercy - it shines equally to everyone. The sun is songs and toy latgalically.
The project creates an interest through acting, inviting its members to know the sun. Since the project activity in schools started in autumn – at a time when the sun remains less – it is searched in accessories and will be woken in the final event before Christmas.
The project is implemented under the creative partnership programme of the Ministry of Culture, from Miķeli to winter sunflower ''.
