That's what we were going to Jacob Palace!
Project “Latvian School Finish” within the framework of 30.10.2019. Sakstagala Graduate school students in Classes 1-4 of the Basic School went into an excursion excursion to Jacob Palace. We first visited Krustpils Palace. Students were offered an excursion along the castle, familiarisation with its history and two creative workshops. Class 1-3 students learned to form candles, while class 4 pupils made paper. The creative skills of candles could be used in events when children themselves make candles and design rooms, used in front nests, rose Adventes crowns. Self-produced paper would be useful for greeting, afforestation, invitations, gifts and rotation.
The pupils then went to Jçkabpils Freedom Museum “museum of mushrooms”. The museum was familiar with ancient buildings, ancient tools and techniques. The children could enjoy the water in the ancient times, smoothed their clothes, and took off their shoes. He also tried to guess what modern use was for many ancient tools as they call them. The information obtained will be useful in reading hours because reading ancient authors works, many old words are incomprehensible. In social sciences, it is a journey in the world of ancient professions and tools.
In conclusion, students had the opportunity to meet the history of Jackabpils, going into a small excursion along the city guide. The lessons heard and seen during the excursion will be useful in natural sciences, education, social sciences and Latvian language hours, speaking about the cities of Latvia and their most significant places.
The children liked the excursion. Thank the responsive drivers for the output.
