National traditions club Sakstagala Jānis KCo at Basic School

Sakstagala Job's primary school students have a lot of chance to engage in different groups of interests. We want to tell you about a group who is working at our school for the first year, its name is a “nation-tradition club.” There are 5-9 students in the club.
Our school is studying both Latvian and Russian pupils, and this group brings together all of us. In a group we meet the cultural heritage of the People, develop our creativity, celebrate folklore festival.
In the autumn we celebrated Martin and created an exhibition for fruit and vegetables, talked about these festivals, met faith. We also created an apple exhibition, we learned about the Russian tradition of Jablochnij Spas. We scented the poems about apples, mentioned the dough, met culinary recipes containing apples.
At the time of Adventes, we formed the crowns of Adventes, with whom we took part in the exhibition “Colnasate”. Before Christmas, all the members of the crowd cooked peppercakes, scandal of the People's songs.
A bunch of girls can and they like to sing. Along with our teacher Ineta Strucinska, we decided to participate in the “copper talent” competition. With pleasure, we sang Russian songs AT Bērzgales in the cultural house – the chastuska about school life.
At the end of the winter we all cooked pancakes and talked about the traditions of Metea and Maslenica.
In front of the spring, and we think we'll be interesting to spend time in the group and find out a lot of interesting about the cultural heritage of the People.
