Creation of the “lucky trees” park launched in Viļāni

On 20 September, the municipality OF Rēzekne Municipality Viļānu association took part in the “big talka” campaign “lucky trees”. First tree plants were planted in the pre-selected park area. IN Viļānu, a “lucky tree” park will be formed in the city, where every citizen of the municipality will be able to plant his plant, thus leaving it to the next generations.  

Despite the rainy weather, THE event was attended BY Viļānu high school students, residents of the city and Viļānu management employees to jointly planting the first three tree plants supplied by the promotional organisers.

In the coming years, the area will be improved and supplemented by new, inhabitants and urban guests, thus continuing THE initiative of THE Viļānu Association for the establishment of a park to find a rest as a citizen, its Viļānu association and the Rezekne District guests.

THE leader of THE Viļānu association, Ivars Ikaunieks, emphasized: “It is important that the area of the future“ lucky tree ”park is located next to the beach island, which is a favorite place for THE residents of THE city and surroundings OF Viļānu, as well as guests. All the events of the city and surroundings are taking place across the city. Beginning with“ pogoing ”, continuing with the traditional“ Viļānu market ”and finally with the Summer Festival event in the eager island of the island. We all deserve a place to get new forces for the next day. This site will therefore be copied and maintained by our all forces. '

Thanks to the organizers of the organization's “big talka” and “lucky trees”, Rezekne Municipality and Viļānu associations and citizens about the prospect of highlighting THE city OF Viļānu in the “lucky trees” map. We invite you all to visit the newly created park area.

In the World CleanUp Day or World Talk, which aims to combine people in the fight against global pollution and climate change, citizens are invited to join the tree sowing and planting stock “HAPPINESS TREES”.

So that each seed or tree planted within it can also grow into a huge future tree, becoming Latvia's contribution to restoring the world climate and ecosystem balance.
