“Land Hour” will be held on 25 March

The World Natural Fund has already held a stock “land hour” for the 11 th time, which will be held on 25 March of the year. 20:30 to at 21:30. As part of this, residents around the world, including Rezekne municipality, are invited to switch lighting objects off for one hour. Promoters in this way want to encourage the thinking of climate change and the impact of individual habits on these changes.

While waiting for “land hour 2017”, the World Natural Fund, along with “Tetra Pak”, is looking for a Latvian climate ambassador - a man who has a lifestyle of care about the environment and who also encourages others. The Earth is the world's largest environmental protection movement, which is held annually in 172 countries and territories. On 25 March of that year, the land of land in the world and Latvia will be held for the 11 th time. The last year in Latvia gathered a record number of hours of land of land (66 municipalities; more than 30 individually organised events throughout Latvia), as well as the land hour was enriched in national and regional media (live, visiting studies, reports) and with increasing public interest and support each year.
