We invite parents to a “day for parents” event!

On 28 August that year at 12.00 An educational administration of the Rezekne municipality organizes an event for “day parents”, in which the team of the project “hub for the future” will seek answers to questions, how to give a positive discipline to children, how to raise their self-awareness and discuss other issues raised by parents. The second part of the event will organize creative workshops that encourage parents to spend time and collaborate with children.
Since the summer of last year, the Rēzekne municipality has been implementing THE ERASMUS + K1 activity project “hub for the future”, which provides a team of adult educators for working with parents. At the same time, activities aimed at creating parental support systems are carried out with mobility and other activities planned in the project. So far, there is a practice in Rezekne municipality to organise various seminars for parents in educational institutions - schools and kindergartens. In the future, on the basis of positive experience elsewhere, we hope to introduce a new practice in which seminars and other forms of training will be implemented by adult educators outside the educational institutions. Our goal is to involve more and more parents who are informed and educated about how to be good parents and support their children.
