Children and pupils will receive sweet Christmas gifts

Also this year, when Christmas is expected, the municipality of Rezekne will take care of the sweet and delicious Christmas gifts at EUR 5.

A packet of sweets will be received by every child declared in the Rēzekne municipality from birth to class 9 (including), as well as children declared in other administrative territories, but are trained in the pre-school educational institutions of Rezekne and in schools up to the 9 th class (including). For example, if a child is declared Viļānos but studied in Rēzekne or Varakhans, the sweetener is due.

It is expected that gifts will mostly be received by children in their educational institutions. If a child is studying at a school or kindergarten of another local government, you are invited to contact the relevant county administration regarding the possibilities of receipt of gifts. Whether it will be a measure, whether delivery to home or parents will be able to receive a gift in parish management - in each parish, this logistics may be different, taking into account the limitations of Covid.

Fresh gifts are planned to be delivered to parish administrations until 17 December.
