Distance ski virtual challenge

From 3 to 10 February, the association EDEDE organizes a virtual challenge for ski skiing. The challenge is in three categories. Category 1 – “employs Ilzeskalna mountains!” where participants must show the fastest single circle (~ 0.68 km) time IN Ilzeskalna skiing trail. Category 2 — “Hidden most kilometres”, is to be performed during the period from 3.02 to 10.02 on freely selected routes. Category 3: In cooperation with THE Ilzeskalna youth centre, a virtual challenge of distance skiing is organised for young people up to 14 years of age, in which young people need to check their abilities by presenting the fastest one small circle (in the area at the pond) in the distance ski trace OF Ilzeskalna. The traces are prepared on Saturday and Sunday, in other days, according to weather conditions.

In all categories, the result must be recorded in one of the sports applications in your smartphone and screenshot with the result must be sent to the “EDEDE” Facebook page or e-mail: biedriba.edede@inbox.lv, giving the name, age, contact information and at least one photo from the skiing. In the youth challenge, the time of the circle may be fixed by a stopwatch.

The winners of the prizes in the category of women and men will be awarded. The main prize is a modern and convenient ski glove for first-place winners who have hid the most km in the given period.
