From Sakstagala parish, Franz Trassa's museum “Colnasate”, up to Viļānu for the varnish island in the River Maltas, from Maltas High School to Lūznavas Manor Park, a song and dance track “Saulesvia” stretched through the Rēzekne municipality on 20 July. In these places there was a holiday truck, filling the participants and fixing greetings in the video. In a different way than usual in Latvia, THE XII school youth song and dance festival has started, without a moving walk, without adventures in the capital of the rich holiday week, with no final concerts in Daugava stadium and Mežaparka's big erection – however, with the joy of songs and dances, with enthusiasm and spite, because – “the festival is where we are!”

At least 50 participants, including collective managers, school directors, pupils, took part in the event. Everywhere there was a razor, in the museum “Colnasate” guests with Latgale songs were waiting for children folklore pools “Rogovka” and “Purineņš”, while THE Maltas upper-school classes 4-9 (dirigente Irene Ivanova) sang the festivals beautifully. IN THE Lūznavas manor park flashing the glorious dancers of dancers, dance steps were tested. Both children and teachers think that the preparation for holidays in all the conditions of the pandemic of these remote years could not be easy, but the festival was very, very.

“Is the song festival feel?” Of course it is! Even if we're at home, even if we don't have a holiday, there's just preparation. There was a sense of feeling at home to dance, “– says Kaunatas High Schools of the 9 th-12 th club of the People's dance collective“ rasa ” Lena and Viktorija.

Members of the Rēzna primary school People's dance collective “Rezna” Victoria Garda, Diana Dombrovskis and Daniel Jessica Drunka she admitted that she was inspired by the love of dance and, of course, the teacher! “With his speech, she inspired us, with her strength and energy.” We went to try three times a day, morning, lunch and evening. And sometimes after hours. We found an appropriate place at home and danced, each couple separate. The teacher searched for suitable places to see everything. “Of course it was harder than usual.”

“The dance collective Rezna has been running for 30 years, we have a anniversary this summer,” says the mathematics, physics, household and technology teacher and two dance leaders. Sylvia Pranch. “We've had an integral part of the time in school.” In 1995, we took the first time from our school to the song and dance festival, and we had very great festivals. We've visited the dance festival three times. But the beekeepers were painful: the next time was Grade 1, and now we had a first degree and more than... On March 12, we had a victory and a pandemic began on 13 March. But we were so inspired that we were very, very, very prepared. I had the feeling that the children read my wishes from my eyes. It wasn't easy, it was very hard, but it was a great pleasure that i managed to give them the shit that was dancing, and in which they had a great desire for every price to do everything and very well. They were Malachi, they really did it. When Purhe gave us the diploma, the tears went to us. '

Viļānu Cultural House Manager Margarita Cakula emphasized that a huge thank you must be given to the parents of children who supported and helped every moment. “First of all, the leaders were calling all parents, because they were the most dependent on their children, especially in the smaller groups. And the parents took the children to every attempt, every time they were dancing. Those who worked at home also had to help with the environment to be a background. They had to film themselves, make records, and their parents came to help. It was at times that many said, Oh, let's wait for this whole thing to end! But the children were the ones who wanted, and the parents said, yes, take them to learn to dance. '

Festival Ambassador, Director of the Informal Education Department of the National Centre for Education Early Berzins thank everyone who has provided the most support IN the preparation of THE youth songs and dance festivals OF THE XII Latvian Schools, as well as the gifts received by all those collectors who have participated in the festival repertoire, participated in the video for “celebrate the sun”, prepared video greetings, photographs, submitted video performances. Gifts – festive bags, have been ordered before pandemic, festival notes, which certify that the festival has occurred in 2021. “This year is a special year for us. Special with many events, special with waiting time, time of innocence, but also the joy of the festival and the joy of meeting. I'm extremely happy to be with you today, meet you, your dancers, the singers, your teachers, your parents. Because only from small works, each of each is the joy of a great festival, a great sense of husbandry and a total of being. Thank you for your strength in the course of the school year, working as you see how it is ever better to dance, repeat that we are the best. '

The festival participants were welcomed by the head of the interim administration OF the municipality of Rezekne Monvīds Švarcs. “I'm glad you're going to cheer in your holidays, because indeed, the festival is where we are.” And indeed, we are not afraid of the pandemic or the hot summer, we are happy to come together, cheer, dance and sing. And, of course, i want to say the words that the musician Isaidor had ever said to the well-known hero, Boņukam Paulane, that the soul is not dry, you have sounded the beginning of that soul in the rainbow! You're a malaise, you find time to be together to dance, cheer. Your souls are in a rainbow! '
