Code of conduct for pedestrians
At present, when people are growing more often in recreational activities in nature and nature helps to address health problems, we must be particularly responsible and remember what impact we have, and we all leave together. The World Nature Fund has prepared a code of ethics, combining nine directions of action that will help people to better understand the importance of different habits and behaviours in the preservation of nature.
The World Natural Foundation invites to go to nature, enjoy and know the nature of Latvia. However, it should be noted that, in a hiking or even a small walk, we are crossing different habitats, often they are fragile and the presence of people may worsen their situation. To see natural values and to protect them is the duty of each pedestrian pedestrian.
Nature is a complex system where each element plays a particular role. For example, the dead wood at the edge of the trail is the thousands of small trees, a tree across the river, a shadow water inhabitants, or an opportunity for a terrestrial animal, but the rocks of rocks used to rub are thousands of years of landscape and non-renewable habitat for different species. Therefore #dab code of conduct calls on us to be as invisible and unheard as possible, visiting forests, marshes, meadows, rivers, lakes and sea beasts. We must also be responsible, take livestock for a walk, as well as admire wild animals, such as natural meadows.
#dab: The Code of Conduct also refers to one of the most visible problems in nature: the increasing amount of waste. With a familiar sense of recognition, “in nature.” What you bring, the Nature Protection Board, together with the World Natural Fund, calls on everyone to evaluate their habits related to waste by going to nature: not to take anything too much and not to use small wastes as far as possible, instead disposing of waste into large receptacles such as parking areas or home.
