Exhibition of the works of the French ceramic group la Borne, celebrating the French Institute in Latvia 20. Anniversary

By celebrating the 20 th anniversary of the French Institute and celebrating the annual Latgale podiers' days, the exhibition is a unique opportunity to meet the works of French ceramic (Hervé Rousseau, Nadia Pasquer, Lucien Petit). The artist is active in the ceramic group “la Borne”, their artistic works created for Latgale in such familiar and understandable material, will give new impressions to local masters and inspire further creative searches. In the history of Latgale ceramics, the Latgale pottery “Latvia – France” was formed in 1937, when several Latgale podiers participated in the world art and industrial exhibition in Paris, and their works were valued with gold and silver prizes.
