Kaunatas association organized low-ice fishing competitions
On 25 February, a low-ice fishing race was held in Luban Lake. On Luban, the most active fishermen from Sprudzs, Kaunatas, Čornajas and Strolimerov, who had arrived at four o'clock in the morning, had arrived.
Although the fish themselves were not large, the role was great. The 1 st place ranked Voldemar Skrebey - 5.310 kg, 2 nd Anton Kukuļs - 2.295 kg and 3 rd place for Vitalijs Sprudznieks - 1.600 kg.
The event was very nice because the time was warm enough and the fishermen were able to enjoy a delicious fish soup on the spot. This kind of common parish action brings together the people of the association and allows more people to know people who live here. During the event, there was also a variety of ideas for other events and proposals for the organisation of events.
