Adventure of coloured days in Sherjans

Stružānu parish youth society DYNAMICS PLUS the Rezekne municipality, in the framework of the contest of youth camps and non-formal training projects, organise non-formal training for young people from 12 to 16 years of age “adventure of coloured days”, which will take place in the municipality of Rezekne, Stružānu parish, holiday home “creeks”. The aim of the camp is to explore the surrounding nature in an interactive way, to acquire elementary skills for daily life and emergency situations.
The development of modern technologies has done miracle things with the development of society, but has completely killed any non-technological skills. The idea of learning different skills for young people came by participating in an annual night-orientation event at the time of dinner, when it was revealed that only a few could peel potatoes and prepare food from all the participants, only half knew how to make a simple tent or a fire! It was an unpleasant surprise for everyone. We realized that adults were often too busy to go with young people, berry, or just walk around the forest. We don't know where there are any berries in the nearby area where to find drinking water not from bottles or from tap and well.
The realization of this project offers to learn both local natural resources and the foundations of survival, and also learn many interesting things, as well as an interesting time to spend time. The rainbow theme is chosen because there is a desire to learn more and different things so that young people become much more suitable for different living conditions and get some little understanding of real life.
Work plan:

• Tuesday - White Day, meet 12.00 Shoganese CN 1 st floor - Welcome, safety briefing, distribution of additional materials to stakeholders, theory day (more vision and hearing), basics of youth, recreation and accommodation at home 21.00;
• Wednesday - a blue-coloured day, 10.00 on the streets - everything about and around water, the identification of nearby sources, the abstraction of drinking water etc., water activities (not swimming), followed by a prolongation in the piracy. Overnight in the tents, the recognition of birds after their husbandry and other night activities at the camp of the camp;
• Thursday - Green Day, rising 8.00 - 9.00 - breakfast preparation, hiking along the nearby areas of the neighborhood with the elements of survival training in the direction of the novelist instructor, during lunch trip, dinner in the guest house, recreation at home 21.00;
• Friday - yellow day, 10.00 - arriving at the streets. A day without a mobile phone!!! - light breakfast, all devoted to the sun, the sky, the stars. We collect herbs for tea, introduce meadow fortune, excursion to bee drava, shooting at the target with the help of peintball, the evening activities, the People's beliefs, the possibilities of predictability of natural conditions, the night in the tents, the night activities, the stars and their location in the sky;
• Saturday - raibā day, rising 8.00 - 9.00 - in conclusion, the group orientation event “adventure under rainbow”, where all the skills and skills acquired during the week will be used. After an informal resting of the event in a guest house (with the permission of the owners).

The participants will be provided with food and safe leisure on comfortable sleeping bags or sleeping accessories. In the bathroom, in the field of lunch, in the case of rain - indoors or shelters.

Whereas on 4 July at 24.00 is intended for a night-orientation competition in Sherjans and a discovery in the Sherjan CN, then the training participants will be invited to join these measures with parental permission.
