Torch runner “Lāčplēsis Cup” in Ilzeskalns

For the fifth consecutive year, in Lāčplēsis, a torch run was organized in Ilzeskalns, “Lāčplēsis Cup”. The warm and quiet Saturday evening in the village was glistening in the light of the torches, filled with scandalous voices and friendly laughter. That is what we expect. How many windows would illuminate the candle flames on November 11 and November 18 to remain in their own ways, but in Ilzeskaln the first flames lit up on the last Saturday.
Twelve teams (each four participants) took part in the event. The various age groups were represented by sportsmen from both Ilzeskalna and Audriņu and Ozolaines parish, and also members from the city of Rezekne. A crowd of supporters was also bright and friendly. In the course of the event, not only the fastest and most cautious runners were found, but also the most lucky jumpers with jumpers, hampers, talented drawers and puzzle specialists. The winners received diplomas and prizes, a friendly atmosphere at tea mugs and biscuits, laughter and wisdom.
I guess i don't need so much to make a joy and smile, only the sins of creatures, just walk toward the other man's offer, just learn to give a moment of time to others. To give you all the light-hearted week of this festival!
