Latgale Region Tourism Association is working on the creation of a new image of Latgale

The Latgale tourism association “Ezerland” implements the project “Marketing campaign for the development and promotion of rural tourism in Latgale region”, which will last for two years. The aim of the project is to promote cooperation between Latgale tourism entrepreneurs and tourism sector growth in Latgale by implementing the largest and most innovative tourism marketing campaign so far.
The tourism association “Ezerland” is already working on a new visual image of Latgale, which will be presented at the overall Latgale region stands at the international tourism exhibition - “Balttour 2021”. The author of the design concept will be Didzis Jaunlow. Didzis Jaunlow is one of the most sought-after Latvian architects who have learned and gained experience in many countries of the world. In the last year he was awarded the title of “new architect of the year” and the first large prize of Latvia's landscape architecture as a view terrace in Valmiera. His works enjoy not only Latvian residents, but also the name of Latvia outside of our country.
The collaboration with Latgale region Didzim has been a few years ago, he is the author of three environmental objects - FIRE, WATER, AIR, the North Latgale municipality in the joint project “loba doba Zīterlatgola”, or reveals a natural researcher in the council! ”, which is invited to attend the summer of this summer. The environmental object OF THE FIRE, which is located in the“ Numernes Valnis ”of the Current Nature Park, was also observed in the prestigious art festival Ansis Landscapes (“ Annecy Paysages ”), where the people of the French Alpine town were celebrated for two months. As the author says, it was a sort of travel portal between two countries – in order to enter the pavilion in Ansis, it would be possible to enter the forests of the Nature Park“ Numernes Valnis ”. THE design office of SIA“ Didzis Jaunlow Architecture ”has also developed an ambitious project of the design of THE Lūznavas Manor Park.
A tourist marketing concept for tourism service providers of Latgale region developed by Professor Andris Klepers, associate professor of Vidzeme High School, is located in the finish line. This will be the basis for the future Latgale tourism marketing campaign and an important tool for Latgale entrepreneurs planning their work and development in tourism.
