Miķelite rich man,
A lot of you in the wedding,
Beet, wedding, carrots,
Potatoes, onions.

In the end of September, Latvian culture is celebrated in Latvian culture. On 26 September, Mr Verham's primary school family also began to celebrate these festivals with the unusual vegetable exhibition “Miķelite rich man”. The pupils from home sang vegetables and fruits grown in rare or unusual forms, which were also supplemented by autumn flowers that singing in our gardens.

On 29 September, the family of Verham's primary school celebrated Miķelday!

Michel himself, with whom the children made a variety of interesting and sporting tasks, visited the smallest. The primary school pupils sang, danced, toyed, and celebrated the festival. The students of the 4 th class had learned the story “crawler”, who spoke very much to young audiences. Traditionally, there was a Miķelday market that gathered and enjoyed not only pupils but also their parents. At the end of the day, sporting activities took place along with males in Miķelday. Teams had to cooperate in disciplines such as the sorting of beans, fruit and vegetables, planting and harvesting of potatoes, reading apples. The children and Dad spent a wonderful afternoon together. Thank parents for active participation in activities!
