Night-orientation competitions in Dricans

In the drifts there was a night-orientation competition organised by parish young people. Six teams participated in the competition -- one team from Dricāniem and Čornajas, two teams from Ozolmuižas and Jaunjjans. The event started after 21.00 as a large proportion of the participants have not yet reached the age of 18. The orientation of the night began with the presentation of the teams, the clarification of the rules and the separation of parish maps. In order for the competition to be honest, THE result of THE Dricānu team was not taken into account, because it was obvious that this team of parish knew the best. Not including the result of the local team, the first finishing team from New Virginans “dynamics”, who performed their route in 1 hour and 17 minutes, a minute later came the team from Ozolmuižas “nothing...”, then followed the second team from Ozolmuižas “Suke”, with a score of 1 h and 20 minutes. The fourth appeared in the “plus” team from New Jaunstrūžāniem and immediately after them from Čornajas “Čornajas bebri”. It is delighted that no team was wrong and the participants successfully came to the target. While young people focused on Dricans, team leaders had their own "Team Building'- a common soup cooking. After the competition, the teams were invited to a warm soup and sandwich, followed by the winners' awards. The strongest teams that stayed longer had a variety of team-based games.
