Completion of the Rēzekne municipality's youth initiative project competition

Spring has come not only with a more sunny time, but also with creative and sporting ideas of young people in Rezekne, due to the completion of the Rezekne municipality project competition for young people on funding for youth initiative projects. In total, 27 project applications were submitted, of which 22 most topical and original funds were awarded with a total amount of EUR 7000.
Project applications are based on the ideas of various activities – the promotion of healthy and active lifestyles (adventure travel with peaks, Latvian health week sports activities, cyclomaraton, Olympic games, tourism basis acquisition), improvement of cultural historical objects, acquisition of first aid, as well as the acquisition of improvisation dance competitions, arc shooting foundations and modelling skills.
The Latvian centennium will create clay dishes with flower elements, planted oaks, the spatial installations of the peoples, and the traditional cooking skills of Latgale will be learned in free nature.
All projects supported by youth initiatives will be implemented over the period from 1 April to 1 November.
