By 7 May of that year, the State Employment Agency (SEA) shall accept employers' applications for the training of employees necessary for the training of the European Social Fund (ESF) project “support for the education of unemployed persons” in the measure “training at the employer”. It is an opportunity for employers to receive a grant to prepare the necessary specialists by selecting and training unemployed persons registered IN THE SEA in the enterprise environment.

Practical training may be organised for the acquisition of professional competence which corresponds to the professional competence of the first, second or third professional qualifications. Practical training shall not be organised in unqualified and low-skilled jobs.

Economic operators, self-employed persons, as well as associations or foundations, except political parties, medical treatment institutions and educational institutions, may apply for the implementation of practical training. In order to receive support for practical training, the employer must offer employment in a newly established workplace or place of employment at least four months before the commencement of practical training. On the other hand, after completion of the practical training, the employer must provide the unemployed person with the opportunity to continue his employment relationship for at least three months.

How can employers apply?
Step 1.

Fill in the form of the application to be found ON THE NVA website, and the required information must be added.

Step 2
A completed application must be submitted or sent by post to THE SEA branch in which practical training is planned in the service area. Contact details of all NVA branches available ON THE NVA website.

By 7 May of that year, THE SEA branch will accept the employer's application and will subsequently organise a session of the Commission for the selection of active employment measures, in which the application will be examined and the decision to approve or refuse the implementation of the practical training of the employer. On the Commission's decision, THE SEA branch will inform the employer and, if the decision is positive, invite the unemployed to participate in the training and enter into a contract for the implementation of the practical training.

More detailed information on THE “training at employer” of THE ESF project “Support for the education of unemployed persons”, its conditions and co-financing shall be read in the SEA website section “Employers” .
