On unmanned aircraft (drone) flights
Public information provided by the National Agency “Civil Aviation Agency” shows that the number of unmanned aircraft (drones) is growing rapidly. The drones are increasingly used not only for private, entertainment purposes, but also for the exercise of the tasks of public authorities, entrepreneurs, farms and other organisations. The use of neglected and unauthorised drones may increase the risk and risks to human life, health, privacy, property, safety and security as well as infrastructure objects of national significance. Within the framework of cooperation, in order to ensure public awareness regarding the use of drones in the territory in the vicinity of the State border and the State Border Guard objects, the State Border Guard Ludza Administration shall inform the local governments regarding the procedures for the use of drones in the attached letter.
