School was founded in 1988 as a school, kindergarten. From 1 September 1993, when Class 5 opened, the primary school gradually converted into primary school.

The school is located 7 km from Rezekne in the centre of Valmiera parish.

School Environment Characteristics

The school is carrying out four basic educational programmes:

• Special basic education programme for students with learning disabilities, code 21015611
• Special basic education programme for students with language disorders, code 21015511

Skolā ir 9 klases un 3 pirmsskolas grupas, kurās mācās audzēkņi no Vērēmu, Ilzeskalna, Lendžu pagasta un Rēzeknes pilsētas.

Skolā strādā draudzīgs un radošs kolektīvs. Atbalsta personāls: logopēds, psihologs, speciālais pedagogs, bibliotekārs, karjeras konsultants un ārsta palīgs.

School special offers:

• Skolai noslēgti sadarbības līgumi ar Rēzeknes Tehnoloģiju Akadēmiju par sadarbību studentu prakses programmu īstenošanā, kā arī informācijas un pieredzes apmaiņā, kas vērsta uz Pušu zinātniski pētnieciskās un mācību metodiskās sadarbības attīstību, un līgums ar LU par dalību projektā "Mācītspēks" Nr. 57-19/40, nodrošinot skolai angļu valodas skolotāju.
