Teachers compete in the methodology of methodological developments

The Ministry of Education of Rezekne, on the basis of the priorities laid down by the municipality for the school year, organised a non-spot competition of the teachers of the general educational institutions of the municipality of Rezekne. The aim of the competition was to promote the exchange of experience of the teachers of Rezekne, encouraging the introduction of innovations in the educational process. One of the main benefits of this competition will be the opportunity for all teachers to familiarise themselves with methodological developments as they will be published in the information portal of the municipality of Rezekne.
At the beginning of November, the teachers of the Rezekne municipality, who participated in the methodological development competition, were invited to meet with the head of the educational administration Lilija Žukovskis. The meeting took place in a positive atmosphere, and during that time teachers' thoughts on this and similar competitions were heard, contemporary developments and problems in the field of education were discussed. The teachers noted unequivocally that such competitions encourage a valuable eye to look at their work and reflect on best practice so that they can be published in the form of other teachers. It was also acknowledged that the best time for the course of the competition is autumn, when the best practice of the previous school year can be compiled, and that one of the main drivers is an active school management team, who encourages their employees not to be “aside”, but to engage in activities announced by the educational administration.
At the time of the meeting, the most active participants of the competition from Maltas secondary school were announced, as four individual works were awarded, with the autores being A. Smaukstele, I. Bundere, I. Sorokina, I. Splashing. English teacher Anna Schmaukstele won 1 st place in the secondary school group with “Cultureshock” (priority - learning process planning and self-evaluation skills as co-responsibility and self-motivation makers). The mathematics teacher Inese Bundere and the informatics teacher, Sorocina, submitted works in the secondary school group. I. Bunderes' work “pyramids” demonstrates conclusively how the possibilities of interactive whiteboard in geometry learning can be used, while I. Sorokina's pupils' co-responsibility and self-motivation have been created through the integration of career learning issues into various subjects. Teacher Šļomin's methodological development “use of reminders for children with special needs” will be a good assistant for every teacher who teaches children after special programmes. Both Bundee, I.Sorocina and I. The leoming work on the methodology was estimated at 2 nd place.
Sakstagala John's primary school took part in two groups, and both works were assessed with 1 st place: in the elementary school group, teachers Anita Cercene, Anita Doroščonoka, Irene Doroščonoka, Arnis Cercens had created a job “competition“ or be smarter than Paulini? ”and the game“ know or mini ”!”, which implemented the integration of priority lessons in the learning process in all subjects and the life of the education hours. On the other hand, Sakstagala Jānis Kco's primary school teacher Sanita Ivanovsky and Diana Stafecka took advantage of the development of children's speech and the solving of logopetic problems by organising a project week called “Quick Alphabet”.
Yelena Bažanova, a high school teacher, won 1 st place in the primary school group. The teacher had chosen to give priority to the development of positive thinking and attitudes towards learning processes, by organising meaningful learning based on student experience and as a best practice in the competition for Latvia “mini dough”.
The most recent party to the competition was Solvita Meļņichenko from Kaunatas High School, who received 2 nd place on the work “Improving creative thinking through an ethnographic article”. The work has been developed and adapted, giving priority to the integration of lead lessons into the learning process in all subjects and educational hours.
At the end of the event, with diplomas and valuable prizes (a paid trip from the tourist agency “fathers”, 2 nd place winners - gift cards from the store “ALBA”) were awarded to all participants in the competition in each age group. The Education Board expresses gratitude to those teachers who, when participating in competitions, demonstrate themselves as responsive, courageous and willing to share their experiences, professionals.
