Rēzekne municipality in Čornajas parish changes the business model and working time of the post office

Due to low postal service demand from 17 November 2022, the business model and working time of the Dukstigala post office of the municipality of Rēzekne will be changed, adapting it to the real needs of the population. From that date, Čornajas parish all postal services every working day from 11 to 12 will be provided at the current location on the future street 5. Outside the service location of the postal service, the residents of the working day will be able to select postal services as well as the poster at his or her place of residence. 

In view of the low demand for postal services in the Dukstigala post office, which gives Latvia an annual loss of more than eur 7400, the business model and working hours of the post office are changed, while the citizens will continue to be comfortable with all the necessary postal services.

As far as so far, the Dukstigala postal service provider will have access to all postal services and other services provided by the Latvian Post: letters, postcards, parcels, bandages, postcards, parcels, bandages, purchase and transmission of domestic and cross-border parcels, purchase and transmission of domestic and cross-border postal parcels, subscriptions of newspapers and envelopes, PAYMENT of newspapers and envelopes, payment of money transfers, payment of public payments and other invoices and the purchase of commercial goods.

For any region of the region, there is already a wide range of possibilities to receive the necessary postal services at the postage directly in his place of residence. The poster shall provide the same services at the place of residence of the client available at the place of provision of postal services: the delivery, acceptance and dispatch of letter correspondence and postal parcels, the purchase of stamps and envelopes, the subscription of press publications, the payment of money and the receipt of pensions, the payment of utilities and other invoices, contributions TO THE PNS account, the purchase of commercial goods, etc.

Through a poster, Čornajas can also receive cash from THE PNS account. It is possible to receive this and other postal services at the place of residence by contacting the Latvian postal customer centre by telephone: 27008001 or 67008001.

Upon receipt of a call for withdrawal of a registered shipment, the residents shall have the opportunity to submit a free receipt of the consignment at the place of delivery of Dukstigala postal service, in advance by telephone 67008001, 27008001 and indicating the date on which the customer wishes to receive the shipment. On the other hand, when attending the Rēzekne 1 st Postal Division at the release alley 81 k-5, the receipt of consignments without prior application is possible on Mondays – Fridays from noon. 8 to 18.

The number and location of the places of provision of postal services shall be determined by a decision of the Council of the Commission of the Public Service Regulator regarding the determination of the obligations of the universal postal service, which stipulates that the postal service in the territorial unit of each municipality shall have at least one place of provision of postal services.

THE citizens of Čornajas will be informed of special notices in their mailboxes from 17 November 2022, starting from 21 October 2022.
