Rēzekne Municipality Teleball League 1 st season is closed with Dricānu team win

On 25 January, the 1 st season of the Rēzekne District School of Children and Youth Sports (JFL) was launched by the Rēzekne municipality in Dricānu. The competition was held in two stages: regular championship and shutdown games. Eight teams from five counters, “Rogovka”, Dagda, Dricāni, Varakalans, Viļāni, “chebureki” (R5VSK), Kaunata, RVJ (Rēzekne State Gymnia), who struggled in five-mile matches, applied for the first season.

The teams were divided into two groups (Luban and Razna), who, after the results of two circles, continued to play two circles in large and small bucket groups.

On May 2, a team of Dricānu won the first place in the big bucket finals, which led to a team of Varakalans. But the third and fourth place was fought by “Rogovka” and the Dagda team. Rogovka's “noise Voi” was stronger, while Dagda's team ranked in the fourth place.

In the Small Cup final, THE Kaunatas team won 1 st place, leaving THE Viļānu team in second place. In turn, the third and fourth place was “chebureki” (R5VSK) team with THE TEAM. As a result, Rēzekne's 5 th high school team “chebureki” won 3 rd place, while RVIV ranked 4 th.

The best tournament player with 34 points (23 goals and 11 matches) became Valters Ludboržs (“chebureki”), while the best team-player diploma won: Dagnis Troška (30 p.) from THE Dricānu team, Vladislavs Vinogradov (23 p.) – Varakļana com., Artis Breavers (34 p.) – “Troks Voi” Rogovka com., Raivis Mizans (29 p.) – Dagda com., Arthur Uzulan (16 p.) – Kaunatas com., Aleksejs Chaakovs (31 p.) – Viļānu com., Raitis Indrans (15 p.) – RVJ com.

All teams were awarded with diplomas, medals and memorial awards. The winners of the prizes received the big and small junior florball cup.
